Copy or delete apps in your Adalo account with just a few clicks!

Skill Level: Beginner

Before You Begin

  • Make sure you have an app to be copied or deleted in your Adalo account

  • Make sure you are logged into Adalo and in the Adalo Editor

  • Cloning an app is different than copying an app in that cloning gives other people the ability to make copies of your app whereas copying it merely makes a duplicate in your own Adalo account.

Now that you know how to copy and delete apps, you can keep your account organized, create versions of apps, or make backups of your work.

Learn More

  • When you copy an app, it will ask if you want to Share the database with another app in your account. This can be very useful for doing things like creating multi-sided apps for your users based on their role.

  • Currently, copying apps is the best way to also handle different versions of your app as well. Instead of making definite changes to a version you know works well, just make a copy of it and share the same database.

  • Restoration of accidental deletions can be done by Adalo up to 7 days after the action has been taken. Please submit a support ticket if you need to reverse a deletion.
