Delivery warning during the app submission process: ITMS-90899

ITMS-90899: Macs with Apple silicon support issue. The message indicates that while the delivery was successful, there are compatibility concerns regarding macOS versions for Apple silicon Macs.

Resolution:

Opt out of MacOS Availibility:

  1. From Apps, select your app. The page opens with the Distribution tab selected.

  2. In the sidebar, click Pricing and Availability and scroll down to the iPhone and iPad Apps on Apple Silicon Mac section.

  3. Under Apple Silicon Mac Availability, deselect β€œMake this app available” to opt out of offering your app on the Mac App Store. Select the checkbox if you want the app to be available on the Mac App Store.

  4. On the top right, click Save.

  5. Publish a new build to Testflight.

Manually edit the Availability Version:

  1. From Apps, select your app. The page opens with the Distribution tab selected.

  2. In the sidebar, click Pricing and Availability and scroll down to the iPhone and iPad Apps on Apple Silicon Mac section.

  3. You can change the minimum macOS version required for compatibility in the menu. This selection also applies to tester groups enabled for testing iPhone and iPad apps on Macs with Apple silicon with TestFlight.

  4. On the top right, click Save.

  5. Publish a new build to Testflight.
