# Forwarding Domain to Root Address

## **Before You Begin**

* Ensure you are on a Paid Adalo Subscription

Adalo only supports use of a Custom Domains that include a Subdomain. \_i.e. **app.mydomain.com** or \*\*[www.mydomain.com.\*\*\_\&#x20](http://www.mydomain.com.**_\&#x20);

If you are trying to set up your domain to go to a Root Address such as ***mydomain.com*** you'll need see if it's possible to set up forwarding or a redirect from your Domain Provider.&#x20;

If your DNS provider offers[ CNAME flattening](https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-cname-flattening-rfc-compliant-cnames-at-a-domains-root/),[ ALIAS](https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-cname-flattening-rfc-compliant-cnames-at-a-domains-root/) or[ ANAME records](https://dnsmadeeasy.com/services/anamerecords/), you may be able to choose to redirect all traffic to your site to your root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com).

The following DNS providers allow you to point root domains to a CNAME/ANAME /ALIAS record:

* [DNSimple](https://dnsimple.com/)
* [DNS Made Easy](https://dnsmadeeasy.com/)
* [ClouDNS](https://www.cloudns.net/)

You can also contact your DNS host to find if they offer CNAME flattening.&#x20;
