# Generate & Download Private Key

## Before You Begin

* This Upload Key allows Adalo to generate the needed key to upload your app to the Play Store.

## Walkthrough

1. Back on the main settings page, click on the "Service Accounts" tab

2. Click "Generate new private key".
3. Then click "Generate key" to download this file. You’ll load this file when you create your Build file in Adalo.

4. &#x20;Next you will [get your build file](https://help.adalo.com/~/revisions/kmzOxqjy7C9sXGVjDKKb/testing-your-app/publishing-to-the-google-play-store/get-your-build-file) from the Adalo builder!
